Sally and John
Sally & John once were hot Used to be lovers but now they're not Live in my ol' neighborhood Look at each other as strangers would
I used to love Sally way back when We'd go out now and again But she wanted John when John did not So I watched, she waited on time she bought
John came 'round after awhile Thought Sally was the one to make him smile But John got restless as lovers do Chasin' other women, had quite a few
Sally left John, couldn't take the pain She won't do that all over again So she stays home in her ol' place Hardly goes out, never paints her face
So I think I'll go back home again Look up Sally, some of my ol' friends She might like some company Perchance this time will work out for me
